Apple Williamsburg

At the crossroads of liberal arts and technology.

The Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn has become one of the epicenters for music, art, and technology in New York City. On Saturday, July 30, we opened our 300th store in the Americas, right in the heart of the neighborhood.

"It is great to see how Apple repurposes old buildings and creates these amazing spaces."

The Neighborhood

Apple Williamsburg is located near the Brooklyn Tech Triangle where organizations are working together to grow the innovation economy within the borough. Brooklyn’s economic diversity, cultural and language variations, and its focus on music and the arts, will offer a great opportunity for the store to host events and workshops celebrating artists and their work.

"We are so happy you are in the neighborhood–we have been waiting for years to see Apple come to Brooklyn."

The Team

About 85% of the employees at Williamsburg are internal transfers representing 38 stores, 26 languages, and 3 countries.

“I enjoyed how we were able to integrate our store and team into the unique community of Williamsburg."
– Natalie Chamat, Family Room Specialist
"Opening a store in one of the most diverse boroughs in NYC has been incredible. The experience has been memorable and I feel I will take this experience with me the rest of my life. I am proud of the work that we have been able to accomplish together and the journey we are about to embark on."
