When will I get my items?

Once your items ship from our warehouse, we’ll email you a Shipment Notification with an estimated delivery date and tracking information. If you chose to pick up your items at an Apple Retail Store, we’ll email you when each item becomes available. You can pick up items as they become available, usually within an hour, or wait and pick up all of your items at once. For items “In Stock,” this is usually within an hour.

Can I pick up my items at an Apple Retail Store?

Yes. Simply tap the “Pick up this item” option for each item you’d like to pick up. Items marked “In Stock” can usually be picked up within an hour of receiving your Order Acknowledgement email. Keep in mind that some items, such as gift cards, are ineligible for pickup. You can have them shipped, or simply purchase them when you pick up your order.

How do I check my order status?

To track a shipment or view order status, tap the “More” tab and choose “Online Orders”. If you have multiple orders, tap the arrow tabs to scroll through each one. To cancel an item or make changes to your order, visit apple.com/orderstatus or call 1-866-242-2674.

How can I return an item?

If you’d like to return an item, visit apple.com/orderstatus or call 1-866-242-2674. You can also bring most items to your nearest Apple Store and a Specialist will help with your return. iPhone orders purchased online or in the Apple Store App are ineligible for in-store returns. Please call Apple for these items. Once we receive your returned item, we’ll initiate your refund immediately.

Can I cancel or edit my order?

Yes. Simply go to apple.com/orderstatus. You can also pre-sign for an item, initiate a return, print an invoice, and more. If you want to cancel a pickup item, you may have been charged for it already. A refund will be initiated as soon as you cancel that item. If you prefer, you can call 1-866-242-2674 and we’ll be happy to help.

Do I need to be available when my package is delivered?

Most of our shipments have valuable items, so our carriers need a signature when they deliver. If our carriers can’t deliver after three attempts, they’ll need to return the package to Apple. You can choose to pre-sign for your shipment—just visit apple.com/orderstatus or call 1-866-242-2674.

How do I qualify for free shipping?

For orders of $50 or more, you’ll receive free standard shipping. For faster delivery, we offer expedited shipping for an additional charge.

How can I pay for my purchase?

The Apple Store app accepts American Express, Discover, MasterCard and Visa credit cards and debit cards. Gift cards and iTunes or App Store credit cannot be used to make purchases with the Apple Store app. For other payment options, shop store.apple.com/us, visit an Apple Retail Store or call 1-866-242-2674.

Can someone else pick up my items?

Yes. You can designate a Pickup Contact during checkout, and we’ll email both of you as each item becomes available. We recommend letting your contact know in advance so they can plan ahead for the pickup date. You can change your Pickup Contact any time before you place your order, but not after.

What should I bring when I pick up my items?

Just bring the card you used for payment, or the order number and a valid photo ID. If you chose to have someone else pick up your items, they just need to bring the order number and a valid photo ID.

How are taxes and fees calculated for my order?

The sales tax and fees displayed during checkout are an estimate. Your invoice will reflect the final total tax, which includes state and local taxes, as well as any applicable fees. In CA and RI, sales tax is collected on the unbundled price of the iPhone.

Does Apple offer an education discount?

Education pricing is available for college students, faculty and staff at all grade levels. Shop the Apple Store for Education or any Apple Retail Store for special pricing on Apple products and select accessories.

Can I gift any of my items?

You can choose signature gift wrapping for any iPad or iPod, select Mac notebooks, and select Apple software and accessories. After you add your items to the cart, tap the “Add Gifting Options” button. If the item is eligible for gifting or free messaging, you’ll see a “Is this a gift?” toggle. Tap the toggle to display the options to add the Apple Gift Package or add a free gift message. Please note that the Apple Gift Package could change the “Ships” timeframe for your items.

What is my Apple ID?

Your Apple ID is the email address you use with iTunes. To purchase items with the Apple Store app, sign in with the same Apple ID and password as you do in iTunes. If you need to change the Apple ID, choose Settings then Store and select the Log Off button. Sign in with the new Apple ID and password.
